Good day of pinball

So I played fucking awesome pinball today. Got lost in the zone and #1 score on Twilight Zone. Then I got my new high score on Pirates. Then I got the new grand champ score on T3. Then I got Monster Bash twice and replayed twice.

Lost in the zone

Got Lost in the Zone in Twilight Zone today for the first time in a few months. Also got #1 besides my Grand Champ score. Here is a video of my weak lost in the zone, if you hit both flippers at once the machine turns off.

Time Machine

I have been trying to find out some info on where my machine has been and so far have had no luck tracking the serial number online. The inside of the cabinet says West Germany and then I also have a Texas state tax sticker on it. I assume it has been in a bar at some point.  I am ordering some new rubbers and replacement bulbs this week to start getting this machine all shiny and new again.

MY FIRST PIN!

Bought my first pinball machine yesterday! Time machine is a Data East game from 1988. Point of the game is to travel back in time to the 50′s which gives you a multiball. Awesome cabinet/playfield art and very fun gameplay. Also all the sounds are great, it has chimes and bells built in like old games used to have.

WOZ AC/DC update

Got an email from Jersey Jack Pinball today with a short clip of the LCD display animation for Wizard of Oz.

Here is a clip of the Jersey Jack logo animation.

This is a clip from www.pinballhead.com of some AC/DC gameplay.

Off to work

Heading to work but when I get home I have some new photos to post and some videos of AC/DC gameplay.

New Monster Bash high score

Got my new high score on Monster Bash at Dog and Duck today. Still looking for tables on craigslist but nothing up right now in my range.

Today

Today was not a good day for pinball. Played a few rounds after work and didn’t make a single decent score. On the plus side I am now starting to look for a home table again. Let the Craigslist hunt begin.

AC/DC update

Pics have been released for Stern’s AC/DC pinball machine.  I was very excited about this game before I saw the photos. The art on the box and playfield seem very uninspired and the huge face on playfield is ugly. Also the playfield doesnt do anything exciting or new for pinball. The two ramp, two orbit, center shot is the same as many other Steve Ritchie games and unless you shell out a couple extra grand for the LE version of the game there are not really any cool toys or features.  Here is a list of the features that come with the standard edition PRO model.

• 1 Ramp Mounted Magnetic Diverter For Cannon Loading
• High Definition Color Cabinet and Decal Artwork
• Motorized Rotating Ball Cannon, Player Controlled
